Rising Stars: Kindergarten - 2nd Grade

BALLET PRIMARY A (Pre-K ages 4-5)
Primary ballet introduces students to classical ballet foundations such as plies, tendues, releves and more. Class work is developmentally appropriate and done in the center in order to help establish a sense of balance and a solid technical foundation. Students will focus on developing gross motor skills, while enhancing their natural sense of balance, coordination, and kinesthetic awareness. These classes emphasize creative expression through movement in a structured, yet fun and imaginative environment.
Tuition: $48 per month
Details: 30 minute class one day per week. Students enter class independently
Studio Uniform: Purple leotard with attached skirt, Pink Tights, Pink Ballet Shoes, and Hair in a Classical Ballet Bun.
Additional Class Pairings: Fine Arts Club
Performance Opportunities: The Nutcracker and Annual Spring Recital
Milestones: Students move to purple studio uniform and have the opportunity to perform in The Nutcracker
BALLET PRIMARY B (Kindergarten)
Students continue to increase their understanding of ballet with enhanced development of ballet concepts including turn out, coordination, spatial awareness, and a specific focus on class etiquette. Students continue to use their imagination to foster young artistry as they focus on musicality and increase their movement vocabulary. Students learn cooperation and teamwork through group patterns, partner work, and choreography.
Tuition: $52 per month
Details: 40 minute class one day per week.
Studio Uniform: Purple leotard with attached skirt, Pink Tights, Pink Ballet Shoes, and Hair in a Classical Ballet Bun.
Additional Class Pairings: Fine Arts Club or Acro
Performance Opportunities: The Nutcracker, Annual Spring Recital, Performance Troupe.
Milestones: Class increases to 40 minutes, and can also take acro at this stage. Performance Troupe opportunity added.
BALLET PRIMARY C (1st-2nd Grade)
I'M AN ORIGINAL CATCHPHRASE
Students conclude their primary training with further development of ballet technique, musicality, and imaginative artistry. Students continue to hone their technique and focus in preparation for Ballet Barre work introduced the following year in Ballet Level 1A. Students learn cooperation and teamwork through more advanced group patterns, partner work, and choreography.

Details: 45 minute class one day per week.
Studio Uniform: Purple leotard with attached skirt, Pink Tights, Pink Ballet Shoes, and Hair in a Classical Ballet Bun.
Additional Class Pairings: Fine Arts Club, Acro, or Tap
Performance Opportunities: The Nutcracker, Annual Spring Recital, and Performance Troupe.
Milestones: Class increases to 45 minutes. Optional Tap. Preparing for Ballet Level 1A barre work. Performance Troupe encouraged to prepare for Company Ensemble.
