This class is perfect for young students looking to develop strength, flexibility, and acrobatic skills in a fun and supportive environment. Students will practice bridges, handstands, and cartwheels!
Ages: Kindergarten - 2nd Grade

What to Wear: Any color leotard with a skirt or shorts, bare feet, and hair in a ponytail.

Get ready to dance your way into fall with our 6-week session of Adult Dance Classes at Movement on Main! Whether you're a beginner or looking to hone your skills, we have a class for you. Join us for Beginner Tap, Intermediate Tap, and Beginning Ballet!

Intermediate Tap: Wednesdays, 7:30 PM - 8:15 PM

What to Bring:Tap shoes for tap classes and ballet shoes for ballet class with comfortable clothing and a water bottle! Need Shoes? Ballet shoes and tap shoes can be fitted and purchased at our front desk if needed. We recommend purchasing shoes as early as possible to ensure we have your size.

Join us for a 6-week session of Adaptive Dance Classes at Movement on Main! Designed specifically for children with diverse needs, our adaptive dance classes offer a supportive environment where children can experience the joy of movement and dance.

In our classes, we provide a space for students to be expressive and imaginative. We offer a blend of guided projects and free-form creations, ensuring every child feels confident expressing their creativity.The best part? No need to worry about hunting down supplies – we've got it all covered! From colorful papers to glittering gems, every material needed for the crafting magic is included. Your young artist will proudly bring home several completed projects throughout the session.

National Honors Society for Dance Arts: Movement on Main Chapter
Movement on Main is a proud chapter sponsor for the National Honors Society for Dance Arts (NHSDA) through the National Dance Educators Organization. NHSDA is a program dedicated to recognizing dance students for their outstanding artistic merit, leadership, and academic achievement in the field of dance. Movement on Main offers a Junior Chapter 6th-9th grade and a Secondary Chapter for 9th-12th grade. Students who participate in the program will be eligible to apply for a Scholarship after High School Graduation. These funds can be used toward any future endeavor such as a College or a Training Program.
