2020-2021 Monthly Tuition Covers:

  • Monthly Class Tuition

  • Recital Production Fee (Covers all production aspects such as set, props, music, dress rehearsals, show day, and choreography)

  • Recital Costume

  • Recital T- Shirt 

  • Ballet Level 1B and up also includes your ABT in studio, yearly Master Class and Exam Class. 

  • For Company Dancers in Ballet Levels 2 and up your monthly tuition also includes all extra events such as Summer Intensives, Exams, Additional Performances, Competitions, and Workshops. 

  • Students who join mid-year will have a recital costume fee. 


  • AUTO-PAY: Families will supply a card to keep on file at the time of registration. This card will automatically be charged on the 20th of each month for your convenience to prevent late fee charges. If you do not wish for the card to be charged, tuition can be paid in advance before the required due date by cash or check at the front desk.

  • CHECKS: If paying in advance with a check: make checks payable to Movement on Main Center for Dance and include  the students name in the memo line. 

  • CASH: If paying in advance with cash at the front desk be sure to receive a receipt.  

  • LATE FEES: Tuition paid past the due date will be charged a $10.00 late fee.


  • 30 Minute Class per week / $48 per month 

  • 40- 45 Minute Class per week / $52 per month 

  • 1 Hour Class per week / $56 per month 

  • Ballet Level 1A Package, 1 Ballet and 1 Acro Class per week / $98 per month

  • Ballet Level 1B package, 2 Ballet and 1 Acro Class per week / $158 per month


  • 2 or More Total Enrollments per Week: One child in 2 classes or 2 children in 1 class each = 5% monthly discount. 

  • 3 or More Total Enrollments per Week: One child in 3 or more classes or siblings in a total of 3 or more classes = 10% monthly discount.

  • Ballet Packages: Level 1A and up Program Add-OnsTap: Ballet program students may add Tap to their monthly package for $25 per month. Hip-Hop: Ballet program students may add Tap to their monthly package for $25 per month

Q: What should I wear to class?

Each dance class requires a specifically branded studio uniform. Please inquire at the front desk for sizing and purchases!

Q: What should I wear to a trial class?

If students already have dance wear they are welcome to wear it to their trial class. Students can also wear clothing that is easy to move it for their first class. If you are in need of any dance wear we recommend purchasing our studio uniform so students will have the required dress code if they choose to continue classes!

Q: How old does my child have to be to dance at Movement on Main?

We offer classes starting at age 2 through Adult.

Q: What classes do you offer?

The following is an outline of classes we offer for each age group.

Tippi-Toes: age 2

Pre-Ballet: ages 3 - 5

Primary Ballet: ages 5 - 8

Acro: ages 5 and up

Tap: ages 5 and up

Hip-Hop ages 7 and up

Ballet Level 1: ages 8 and up

We also offer an intensive Ballet program where students can progress to Pointe, Modern, Jazz, and Contemporary.

*Our cut-off for age groups is October 31st.

Q: My child is 8 years old, will they be placed in a beginners class with younger students?

No, each student will be enrolled in a class with students in their own age group.

Q: Is tuition due every month?

Yes, tuition is auto-debited on the 20th of each month. You can find more information about payment options on our Tuition page. You monthly tuition also includes your recital costumes and recital t-shirt!

Q: Do you accept male students?

Yes, we welcome male students in all classes and age groups.

Q: Is there an annual recital?

Yes, every year in May we have a production themed recital at Secrest Auditorium in Zanesville, OH.

We do not have our own parking lot. There is however, a parking lot beside our building that is vacant during studio hours that you may park in. There is also limited street parking available as well.
