New Student Enrollment Going on Now!
Foundations Program
Recreational Classes for 2nd-4th Graders
Foundations Ballet
In this level, the difficulty of steps is increased and barre work is added to facilitate greater turnout range and strength. In order for their technique to progress, students are encouraged to build good class taking habits such as effort, mental focus, attention to detail, and the ability to pick up exercises quickly and effectively. Students will also continue to develop their artistry and love of movement through imagery and creative dance.
Foundations Acro
In this class, students will focus on preparatory stretches, body positions, jumps, rolls, and the beginning principles of acro dance and its terminology. The curriculum is designed to improve fine and gross motor skills while developing strength, flexibility, and stamina for the next level. Skills include backbends, handstands, cartwheels, and more.
Foundations Tap
This class practices more complex steps, and double sounds are added while still working on clarity and musicality in the steps and combinations.
Foundations Jazz
The difficulty of steps and emphasis on clean technique is increased, all while continuing to develop a student's love of dance! These fun, upbeat classes practice basic jazz technique such as chasses, pivot turns, three step turns, and more.
Foundations Singing/Acting
Singing/Acting offers an outlet for students to train and develop their musical theatre skills. Students will practice performance skills such as singing, acting, dancing, and improvising. This class allows students to build their skills and confidence for auditions, rehearsals, and performances.
