National Honor Society for Dance Arts
Movement on Main is a proud chapter sponsor for the National Honor Society for Dance Arts (NHSDA) through the National Dance Educators Organization. NHSDA is a program dedicated to recognizing dance students in grades 6 through 12 for their outstanding academic merit, leadership, and achievement in dance. Students participating in the program will be eligible to apply for a scholarship during their senior year of high school. These funds can be used toward any future endeavor, such as a college or a training program.

Become a Patron for the Arts

You can become a Patron of the Arts by purchasing 10 tickets to the show for $150. Your ticket purchase is vital in supporting local dancers and will help establish our area's first National Honor Society for Dance Arts (NHSDA).
The NHSDA will recognize students who maintain a minimum grade point average, participate in community service, and show commitment to the dance arts. Beginning in Spring 2025, the NHSDA will also provide scholarships to seniors who participate in the program.
